- Description:
- libdmtx - software for reading and writing Data Matrix barcodes
libdmtx is open source software for reading and writing Data Matrix
barcodes on Linux, Unix, OS X, Windows, and certain mobile devices. At
its core libdmtx is a shared library, allowing C/C++ programs to use its
capabilities without restrictions or overhead.
Data Matrix barcodes are two-dimensional symbols that hold a dense
pattern of data with built-in error correction. The Data Matrix
symbology (sometimes casually referred to as "DataMatrix") was invented
and released into the public domain by RVSI Acuity CiMatrix.

Remove WWW entries moved into port Makefiles
Commit b7f05445c00f has added WWW entries to port Makefiles based on
WWW: lines in pkg-descr files.
This commit removes the WWW: lines of moved-over URLs from these
pkg-descr files.

Add WWW entries to port Makefiles
It has been common practice to have one or more URLs at the end of the
ports' pkg-descr files, one per line and prefixed with "WWW:". These
URLs should point at a project website or other relevant resources.
Access to these URLs required processing of the pkg-descr files, and
they have often become stale over time. If more than one such URL was
present in a pkg-descr file, only the first one was tarnsfered into
the port INDEX, but for many ports only the last line did contain the
port specific URL to further information.
There have been several proposals to make a project URL available as
a macro in the ports' Makefiles, over time.

Update ImageMagick to 6.9.10.14 [1]
* Add PKGNAMESUFFIX and rename the directory. This was done to show
that IM6 is not the "main" version. But still fully supported by upstream.
* Convert a number of options to optionhelpers.
* Add option for ISO/IEC 23008-12:2017 HEIF suport
* Add comment to pkg-descr explaining IM6's "legacy" tag.
* Add comment to the patch-config_policy.xml file why it still needed.
Please note that IM7 is not a drop in replacement due to library API and
command arguments changes. And as a result ports need to decide for themself
which version to use.
Chase these changes in all the ports that using IM6.

ImageMagick to 6.9.9-15.
* Disable FPX (FlashPix) support by default. This image format is really
rare these days coupled with that there are known CVE's in libfpx and
it doesn't seem to be maintained these days. It doesn't make sense to
keep it enabled by default anymore. [1]
* Add new option for RAW support
* Fix portscout macro to only show 6.9.x versions
Bump other ports for the shared library bumps in IM 6.

Update ImageMagick to 6.9.0.4.
- Normalize the ImageMagick library name so it stays the same regardless of
what the 16-bit and HDRI option are set to [1]. Teach cmake to look for
the new name. Bump ports that link to the libraries due to this.
- As a result do away with the "HALFSUPPORTED" option block, and list
16-bit and HDRI with the other options.
- ImageMagick ships a basic SVG plugin when not using librsvg2 for SVG
support. This basic SVG plugin needs libxml2 to work [2]. Make libxml2
a mandatory dependency (instead of only when the SVG option was selected).
- Don't touch .keep files in the modules directory, there files there so
it useless.

Update to 6.8.9-3 [1][3].
Use USES=compiler:openmp for the OPENMP option[2]
Ditch the use of perl for patching etc [4] and silence perl threaded check [6]
-delay option spurious message should be fixed [5]
JASPER option was replace by JPEG2000 for JP2k support.
Put 16BIT_PIXEL and HDRI option separate option block. These options change
the library name, so the user needs to take this into consideration.
Use new LIB_DEPENDS syntax.
Use @sample for config files.
Sprinkle some USES=pkgconfig for some ports, since we don't pull it in
anymore at run-time.

libdmtx is open source software for reading and writing Data Matrix
barcodes on Linux, Unix, OS X, Windows, and certain mobile devices. At
its core libdmtx is a shared library, allowing C/C++ programs to use its
capabilities without restrictions or overhead. The included utility
programs, dmtxread and dmtxwrite, serve as the official interface to
libdmtx from the command line, and also provide a good reference for
programmers who wish to write their own programs that interact with
libdmtx.
