- This is the compiler and minimal libraries from the Polytechnique
Montreal Modula-3 distribution. PM3 is the most actively maintained
Modula-3 distribution. It is derived from the original SRC release,
but it contains many bug fixes and enhancments. Here are the packages
included:

* extend files/patch-l1 and files/patch-l2 to match gethostname(3)
prototype on 5.x and above
* add patch for language/modula3/m3compiler/m3cc/gcc/m3.c to make it use

Make the pm3-base port buildable on -current again. I simply
removed the Cstdio interface (which had references to __sF) from the
build. That interface isn't used by anything anyway. |

Fix a construct that causes make errors on platforms that are not
supported by these ports. This fixes 'make readmes' for them on
sparc64 (and by that, release building without NOPORTS).
