Add the 2>/dev/null||true business to a locale directory rmdir thinger.

Clean up handling of locale directories at deinstall-time:

* Don't remove "system directories" (which were created by BSD.*.dist)
* Silently try to remove locale directories which we might have created

Add intlhack to fix the build with Perl 5.00503, and add a missing dependency
on intltool.

Please check the FreeBSD GNOME site for any FreeBSD gotchas, as well as
general FAQs and documentation (GNOME 2.4 updates to be posted soon).  The
best way to upgrade so that you get all shared library dependencies is:

portupgrade -rf -m BATCH=yes atk
portupgrade -R -m BATCH=yes gnome2

GNOME has just changed the layout of their FTP site.  This resulted in
making all the distfiles unfetachable.  Update all GNOME ports that fetch
from MASTER_SITE_GNOME to fetch from the correct location.

Fix the Electric Eyes key so it calls the write program name.

gettext upgrade uber-patch (stage 3)

- switch devel/gettext (0.11.1) on, installing full package
- flip devel/gettext-old (0.10.35) to installing only static binaries
  with a "-old" suffix -- gettext-old will have its deorbit burn
  sequence initiated just after 4.6-RELEASE
- fix up ports for the new world order
