www/squid33: Fast track removal to 14 March 2015
This port was supposed to be removed 31 Jan 2015, but it was extended
four months. A few days later the bug that it was extended for was
fixed and is already in www/squid (3.4.12)
Therefore, cancel the rest of the extension and remove this port in
two weeks. |

www/squid33: Clarify option for http-violations
The option STRICT_HTTP was highly misleading. If enabled, it disabled
strict checking, the opposite of what somebody would reasonably assume.
Rename the option to LAX_HTTP and improve the description to ward off
potential confusion.

www/squid33: Support Kerberos on DragonFly
DragonFly does not have Kerberos in the base system as this port assumes.
In order to build squid33, DF has a dependency on krb5 packages. Morever,
the configure check assumes Kerberos is in the base system, so it fails
to configure. Disable the check completely as it's guaranteed to pass on
FreeBSD and the sought headers are installed with krb5. |

Stage www/squid33
This port needed a *lot* of love, and it needs a lot more. It has a
ton of options (Do we need so many options rather than enabled by
default?) and I suspect many options aren't staged properly. Also the
way the plist is put together is crazy. This needs a proper static
pkg-plist with PLIST_SUB switches. This port badly needs a full-time
maintainer. (www/squid32 and www/squid are just as bad)
I also added patch from PR 192119 while I was here.

www/squid, squid32, squid33: Reset maintainer
At least 2 PRs per port have been submitted to provide staging going back
to May, but the maintainer has not responded. These PRs prevented the
maintainer from being reset on the big pass, so do it now that there are
only 2 weeks left to stage these ports.

NEW XORG ON FREEBSD 9-STABLE AND 10-STABLE
This update switches over to use the new xorg stack by default on FreeBSD 9
and 10 stable, on osversions where vt(9) is available.
It is still possible to use the old stack by specifying WITHOUT_NEW_XORG in
/etc/make.conf .
FreeBSD 8-STABLE and released versions of FreeBSD still use
the old version.
A package repository with binary packages for new xorg will
be available soon.
This patch also contains updates of libxcb and related ports, pixman, as well (Only the first 15 lines of the commit message are shown above ) |
