- Description:
- KRio is a KDE graphical interface to the Rio utility developed by The
Snowblind Alliance, which can be used for uploading and downloading files
to/from the Diamond Rio, a popular portable MP3 player.
KRio can do the following:
* Upload/download files to/from Diamond Rio
* List Rio contents
* Delete files from Rio
* Initialise Rio
Note that while the Rio Manager software that comes with the player does not
allow you to upload non-MP3 files or download files from the device, it is
possible with this utility. For non-MP3 files, Diamond Rio can be used as
a portable and robust file storage system.
KRio accesses the hardware directly, therefore it needs to be run as root.
You also need to know your parallel port's address - standard port addresses
on PCs are 0x378, 0x3BC and 0x278.

Say goodbye to Qt 1.x and all of its dependents. The one port I found
which probably isn't supposed to be removed is misc/instant-workstation,
which had a dependency on audio/xamp (being removed), so I removed that
dependency and bumped PORTREVISION. All other ports are real dependents
upon Qt 1.x, including KDE 1.x stuff.
Code in bsd.kde.mk supporting these ports is also removed or adjusted.
Also, some adjustments made to accomodate Qt3/KDE3 ports, which will be
committed Real Soon Now (TM), pending repo-copies.
This commit made in impending view of Qt3/KDE3 entering ports tree. |

Various fixes: - Put kdesupport11 dependency back. I forgot that it is not
implied by kdelibs11 as kdesupport2 is by kdelibs2. - HAS_CONFIGURE ->
GNU_CONFIGURE in some cases were needed. - Add X11 headers to CPPFLAGS for
moonshine (extreme case). |

Overhaul QT/KDE support: - bsd.port.mk update to use bsd.kde.mk for
USE_{QT,KDE}* - Cleanup corresponding ports for bsd.kde.mk update. - Fix
bsd.kde.mk: use correct kdelibs dependency, put qt at the bottom, introduce
QT_NONSTANDARD variable for nonstandard configure setup. - Update KDE2 to
2.1.1. Two patches included in x11/kdelibs2 to fix the proxy authentication
that was broken for 2.1.1. Remove old patches. - Potentially fix kdelibs
build for alpha. - Fix qt-designer 2.3.0 build. - Ruby stuff left alone
since it looks like black magic to me. Should still work w/ compat shims
for older USE_QT[,2] style. Some others were also left alone for the same
reason. |

Mark these ports as BROKEN after KDE 1.x was unceremoniously ripped from the
