CEDET: Collection of Emacs Development Environment Tools
CEDET is a collection of tools written with the end goal of creating
an advanced development environment in Emacs.
It includes:
Semantic: A infrastructure for parser based text analysis in Emacs.
EIEIO: Enhanced Implementation of Emacs Interpreted Objects.
CEDET/common: The CEDET common subpackage contains small utilities
recently drawn out of some of the other tools.
Speedbar: An Everything Browser.
EDE: Emacs Development Environment.
COGRE: COnnected GRaph Editor.

2015-01-01 devel/ecb: does not work with newer Emacs versions, use the elpa
package instead
- Mark devel/cedet and devel/ecb as broken, since they both do not work
with the newer emacs versions anymore. Deprecate them, too, since
upstream development ceased.
cedet ships with emacs since 23.x and an updated ecb version, which
works with newer emacs versions can be installed via the elpa package
installers.

Changes to editors/emacs and Mk/bsd.emacs.mk were taken from
PR/137956 by Ashish SHUKLA (thanks!). [1]
Those ports which define EMACS_PORT_NAME to be "emacs21" were
not touched (this time). They may be converted to the new
world order by removing the above mentioned assignment.
Four ports were marked as BROKEN with EMACS_PORT_NAME=emacs23
(they do not compile):

Bump portrevision due to upgrade of devel/gettext.
The affected ports are the ones with gettext as a run-dependency
according to ports/INDEX-7 (5007 of them) and the ones with USE_GETTEXT
in Makefile (29 of them).
