Eric is a full featured Python and Ruby editor and IDE, written in python.
It is based on the cross platform Qt gui toolkit, integrating the highly
flexible Scintilla editor control. It is designed to be usable as everyday's
quick and dirty editor as well as being usable as a professional project
management tool integrating many advanced features Python offers
the professional coder.
This is a port of eric4 (based on Qt4).

to ${DATADIR} since the port provides not a python module and/or library
but an application;

Fix installation of devel/eric4 when stdin is closed.
The installation asks the user a question, but if stdin is closed an EOFError is
thrown and installation fails. The patch fixes this by assuming "no" to the
question.
The install script asks the user about modifying PyXML, an external file to
eric4, thus answering "no" is the appropriate answer in the absence of user
judgement.

At the moment 1385 ports use BUILD_DEPENDS= ${RUN_DEPENDS} and 450
ports use BUILD_DEPENDS:= ${RUN_DEPENDS}. This patch fixes ports that are
currently broken. This is a temporary measure until we organically stop using
:= or someone(s) spend a lot of time changing all the ports over.
Explicit duplication > := > = and this just moves ports one step to the left
