- Description:
- The ivykis library is a thin, portable wrapper around OS-provided
mechanisms such as epoll(4), kqueue(2), poll(2) and select(2). It was
mainly designed for building high-performance network applications,
but can be used in any event-driver application that uses pollable

Programs written to the ivykis API are generally single-threaded (or
use only a small number of threads), and never block on I/O. All
input and output is done in a nonblocking fashion, with I/O readiness
notification delivered via callback functions.

devel/ivykis: Assume maintainership
While working on a syslog-ng update, our upstream, "Peter Czanik,
noticed our ivykis port was out of date. He sent an email to myself and
the port's maintainer, Gergely Nagy <algernon@madhouse-project.org>,
that it be updated. The maintainer intimated that he hadn't looked at
the in some time, suggesting someone else take it on. I agreed,
promising to update the port. The update will be the next commit to
this port.

devel/ivykis: fix build with lld 17
The linker version script libivykis.posix.ver refers to several inotify
related functions, which are never used on FreeBSD since we do not
support the inotity interface. This causes errors with lld 17, so add a
post-patch that deletes the undefined symbols from the linker script.

Remove WWW entries moved into port Makefiles
Commit b7f05445c00f has added WWW entries to port Makefiles based on
WWW: lines in pkg-descr files.
This commit removes the WWW: lines of moved-over URLs from these
pkg-descr files.

Add WWW entries to port Makefiles
It has been common practice to have one or more URLs at the end of the
ports' pkg-descr files, one per line and prefixed with "WWW:". These
URLs should point at a project website or other relevant resources.
Access to these URLs required processing of the pkg-descr files, and
they have often become stale over time. If more than one such URL was
present in a pkg-descr file, only the first one was tarnsfered into
the port INDEX, but for many ports only the last line did contain the
port specific URL to further information.
There have been several proposals to make a project URL available as
a macro in the ports' Makefiles, over time.

Do not use post-stage. Use post-install instead.
The only reason to use post-stage is because the port needs to do
"things" at a later time, like some plist manipulation.
While there, fold post-install in do-install targets when they are
defined.
