Electrum is an easy to use Bitcoin client. It protects you from
losing coins in a backup mistake or computer failure, because your
wallet can be recovered from a secret phrase. There is no waiting
time when you start the client, because it does not download the
Bitcoin blockchain.

devel/py-qtbuilder and devel/py-sip should only be used as a

Usually, these are only used to build the PyQt framework, but a few
other ports need them to build. Ports that have them as a BUILD_DEPENDS
unnecessarily haven't been audited yet.
Sip used to be needed for run, but this hasn't been the case for quite
some time. Runtime is provided by the devel/py-qt[56]-sip ports.
(USE_PYQT=pysip). The main PyQt ports provide this automatically, so
it isn't necessary to add it to individual consumers.

Remove WWW entries moved into port Makefiles
Commit b7f05445c00f has added WWW entries to port Makefiles based on
WWW: lines in pkg-descr files.
This commit removes the WWW: lines of moved-over URLs from these
pkg-descr files.

Add WWW entries to port Makefiles
It has been common practice to have one or more URLs at the end of the
ports' pkg-descr files, one per line and prefixed with "WWW:". These
URLs should point at a project website or other relevant resources.
Access to these URLs required processing of the pkg-descr files, and
they have often become stale over time. If more than one such URL was
present in a pkg-descr file, only the first one was tarnsfered into
the port INDEX, but for many ports only the last line did contain the
port specific URL to further information.
There have been several proposals to make a project URL available as
a macro in the ports' Makefiles, over time.

to remove what is deprecated in sip4.
Sip6 completely removes the deprecated parts.
Unfortunately, some ports — mostly cura things — can not use sip6, so we
reintroduce sip4.

At the same time, we took the opportunity to simplify PyQT and propose only one
package as for devel/pyside2. */py-qt5-* have been merged — excepted chart,
networkauth and webengine — into devel/py-qt5-pyqt.
This allows us to be in adequacy with the packages that the author of these

finance/electrum: Fix version requirement, unbreak build
This has been prompted by by the recent update of dns/py-dnspython.
After analyzing the version requirements of electrum it turns out this
has been a typo.

finance/electrum: Loosen version restriction on dependency
electrum runs just fine in dark mode with the latest version of
textproc/py-QDarkStyle. This unblocks long overdue update of
textproc/py-QDarkStyle which is anticipated by other ports.

- Merge the two hardware crypto wallet options into one. This is the way it is
handled by setup.py.

Fix Qt5 symbol version scripts to put the catch-all clause first. When
a symbol matches multiple clauses the last one takes precedence. If the
catch-all is last it captures everything. In the case of Qt5 libraries
this caused all symbols to have a Qt_5 label while some should have
Qt_5_PRIVATE_API. This only affects lld because GNU ld always gives the
catch-all lowest priority.
Older versions of Qt5Webengine exported some memory allocation symbols from
the bundled Chromium. Version 5.9 stopped exporting these [1] but the
symbols were kept as weak wrappers for the standard allocation functions to
maintain binary compatibility. [2][3] The problem is that the call to the
standard function in these weak wrappers is only resolved to the standard
function if there's a call to this standard function in other parts of
Qt5Webengine, because only then is there a non-weak symbol that takes
precedence over the weak one. If there's no such non-weak symbol the call

pyqt: Change install directories for Python flavor support
* PyQt could not be installed for multiple Python versions at
the same time, as there were conflicting files.
This patch creates Python-version versioned directories for
all these, and further installs binaries with a version number.
* Note, there might be some hickups for software that depends on
on of the .so's provided by PyQt5, which might not be found
anymore autmotically, and maybe need some LD-flaggery.
* Update PyQt5 to 5.10.1
* Mark www/py-qt5-webengine broken. It is unforuntately no longer
compatible with the old qt5-webengine-5.9.4 we ship.

Convert Python ports to FLAVORS.
Ports using USE_PYTHON=distutils are now flavored. They will
automatically get flavors (py27, py34, py35, py36) depending on what
versions they support.
There is also a USE_PYTHON=flavors for ports that do not use distutils
but need FLAVORS to be set. A USE_PYTHON=noflavors can be set if
using distutils but flavors are not wanted.
A new USE_PYTHON=optsuffix that will add PYTHON_PKGNAMESUFFIX has been
added to cope with Python ports that did not have the Python
PKGNAMEPREFIX but are flavored.
USES=python now also exports a PY_FLAVOR variable that contains the

Update to 3.0.1, the main highlights of this release are Segregated Witness
(segwit) support and has switched from qt4 to qt5.
Cold storage wallet support still need some work. Therefore disable the trezor
and ledger support for now until things have been fixed.
Users depending on trezor and ledger are advised to use finance/electrum2 for
the time being.

Electrum is installed with various hardware wallet plugins but they lack the
necessary python backends. Now that we have ports for the TREZOR and LEDGER
hardware wallets in the ports tree add those as an option and enable by default.
Provide devd sample rules and display a message on how to enable.
