- Description:
- DBoW2 is an improved version of the DBow library, an open source C++ library for
indexing and converting images into a bag-of-word representation. It implements
a hierarchical tree for approximating nearest neighbours in the image feature
space and creating a visual vocabulary. DBoW2 also implements an image database
with inverted and direct files to index images and enabling quick queries and
feature comparisons.

Remove WWW entries moved into port Makefiles
Commit b7f05445c00f has added WWW entries to port Makefiles based on
WWW: lines in pkg-descr files.
This commit removes the WWW: lines of moved-over URLs from these
pkg-descr files.

Add WWW entries to port Makefiles
It has been common practice to have one or more URLs at the end of the
ports' pkg-descr files, one per line and prefixed with "WWW:". These
URLs should point at a project website or other relevant resources.
Access to these URLs required processing of the pkg-descr files, and
they have often become stale over time. If more than one such URL was
present in a pkg-descr file, only the first one was tarnsfered into
the port INDEX, but for many ports only the last line did contain the
port specific URL to further information.
There have been several proposals to make a project URL available as
a macro in the ports' Makefiles, over time.

graphics/opencv: update to 4.5.1 -- and make port more easily maintainable
This is a major upgrade from 3.x to 4.x.
Changelog from versions 3.4.1--4.5.1 can be found here:
https://github.com/opencv/opencv/wiki/ChangeLog
Note: this has explicitely not been added as a new graphics/opencv4 port, but
replaces the
previous graphics/opencv[3] port. Again, to improve maintainability by not
giving ports
the option to pick the "wrong one" - this leads however to some abandoned
ports being
broken.
The port has been greatly simplified:
* graphics/opencv-core which existed to enable ffmpeg to depend on opencv,
and vice versa
has been removed. ffmpeg no longer can depend on opencv. (Only the first 15 lines of the commit message are shown above ) |
