DjVu is a web-centric format and software platform for distributing
documents and images. DjVu was originally developed at AT&T
Labs-Research. In March 2000, AT&T sold DjVu to LizardTech Inc. who
now distributes Windows/Mac plug-ins, and commercial encoders (mostly
on Windows).
LizardTech released the reference implementation of DjVu under
the GNU GPL in October 2000. DjVuLibre (which means free DjVu), is
an enhanced version of that code, maintained by the original inventors
of DjVu. It is compatible with version 3.5 of the LizardTech DjVu
software suite.
===> The following configuration options are available for djvulibre-3.5.30:
ANY2DJVU=off: Install any2djvu script (requires curl)
DESKTOPFILES=on: Install icons and mime types
DOCS=on: Build and/or install documentation
===> Use 'make config' to modify these settings

Remove WWW entries moved into port Makefiles
Commit b7f05445c00f has added WWW entries to port Makefiles based on
WWW: lines in pkg-descr files.
This commit removes the WWW: lines of moved-over URLs from these
pkg-descr files.
Approved by: portmgr (tcberner)
Add WWW entries to port Makefiles
It has been common practice to have one or more URLs at the end of the
ports' pkg-descr files, one per line and prefixed with "WWW:". These
URLs should point at a project website or other relevant resources.
Access to these URLs required processing of the pkg-descr files, and
they have often become stale over time. If more than one such URL was
present in a pkg-descr file, only the first one was tarnsfered into
the port INDEX, but for many ports only the last line did contain the
port specific URL to further information.
There have been several proposals to make a project URL available as
a macro in the ports' Makefiles, over time.
(Only the first 15 lines of the commit message are shown above )
INSTALLS_ICONS: retire the macro and rework the related dependencies
While here, make sure gtk-update-icon-cache is only on run dependency
where added as a dependency
Enforce gtk3 to depend on gtk-update-icon-cache (previously it was
inheriting the dependency)
graphics/djvulibre: some fixes for the icons
- Remove graphics/librsvg2 from build dependency
- Add DESKTOPFILES option for installation of icons and mime types
- Use prebuilt icons instead of conversion tool to generate them
- Adapt pkg-plist

graphics/djvulibre: 3.5.25.3 -> 3.5.27
- simplified configuration scripts
- deadlock fixes
- Thread safe miniexp
- Now using the standard autotools approach (thanks to Vincent Torri).
- New windows installer (thanks to Konstantin Kravtsov).
- General speedup thanks to lock-free smart pointers.
- ddjvu can produce one file per page.
- djvused can now set the default page orientation.
- Bug fixes all around.

Repair instances, almost all courtesy of bf ;-), of spaces
and/or tabs before the =. This made doing regular expressions
on the ports tree really difficult.
Approved by: portmgr (not really, but touches unstaged ports)
- Support staging
- Use new LIB_DEPENDS syntax
- Use options helpers
- Add missing DOCS option to options list
- Bump PORTREVISION

This changes almost all the "gnomehack" only USE_GNOME cases to USES= pathfix.
If a port used other USE_GNOME items it was untouched.
The ports that used other USES were fixed by hand.

update DjVuLibre to 3.5.25.3 and adjust dependent ports: the QT3 GUI that was
formerly in graphics/djvulibre has been removed, and graphics/djvulibre-nox11
has been merged back into graphics/djvulibre
- Return my ports back to the pool. I was unable to make any fixes to
my ports in the past 3 weeks while ports were broken on any 10.x
machines, which means I'm unable to maintain them. So let people know
that there's no available support for them until things are back to
normal (which also means that anyone with spare time will be able
to fix them without getting approval).
Remove USE_GNOME=gnometarget from ports. It has been a empty keyword since
mid 2008.

Add a new framework for browser plugins, USE_WEBPLUGINS. It is for which foo
plugins support one of web browsers and can take care of plist (depend on how
you use it) at the same time. I have written a complete document and even show
how it works in the www/firefox/Makefile.webplugins so be sure to read in
there. If there is anything that isn't clear in the document, please feel free
to ask and I will try my best to improvement it.
FYI: GNOME 2.24 depends on this, so it's coming.
BTW: It's based on www/linux-mplayer-plugin/Makefile.npapi with heavy modified.

Mass-conversion to the USE_AUTOTOOLS New World Order. The code present
in bsd.autotools.mk essentially makes this a no-op given that all the
old variables set a USE_AUTOTOOLS_COMPAT variable, which is parsed in
exactly the same way as USE_AUTOTOOLS itself.
Moreover, USE_AUTOTOOLS has already been extensively tested by the GNOME
team -- all GNOME 2.12.x ports use it.
Preliminary documentation can be found at:
http://people.FreeBSD.org/~ade/autotools.txt
which is in the process of being SGMLized before introduction into the
Porters Handbook.
Light blue touch-paper. Run.
Add patch to ensure, the local directories are searched for headers

Add a forgotten patch to use INSTALL_SCRIPT, rather than _PROGRAM to
install an shell script (djvudigital).
Remove an empty line in Makefile.
Upgrade from 3.5.14 to 3.5.15. Always explicitly depend on jpeg and tiff --
we use them with or without X11. Always remove the uber-optimization -- -O3
is dangerous, -m*=i386 is silly.
With portmgr hat on, reset maintainership of these ports. Maintainer's
old email address bounces, and he has not been responsive to email on the
only other one we have for him.
These ports are now available for adoption.

- Fix pthread confusion in build so that djvulibre runs reliably on both -STABLE
and -CURRENT.
- Take care of some pkg-plist issues.
- Enable linking to tiff in the WITHOUT_X11 case for complete capability.
- This version adds some XML utilities.
