Remove WWW entries moved into port Makefiles
Commit b7f05445c00f has added WWW entries to port Makefiles based on
WWW: lines in pkg-descr files.
This commit removes the WWW: lines of moved-over URLs from these
pkg-descr files.

Add WWW entries to port Makefiles
It has been common practice to have one or more URLs at the end of the
ports' pkg-descr files, one per line and prefixed with "WWW:". These
URLs should point at a project website or other relevant resources.
Access to these URLs required processing of the pkg-descr files, and
they have often become stale over time. If more than one such URL was
present in a pkg-descr file, only the first one was tarnsfered into
the port INDEX, but for many ports only the last line did contain the
port specific URL to further information.
There have been several proposals to make a project URL available as
a macro in the ports' Makefiles, over time.

graphics/opencv: update to 4.5.1 -- and make port more easily maintainable
This is a major upgrade from 3.x to 4.x.
Changelog from versions 3.4.1--4.5.1 can be found here:
https://github.com/opencv/opencv/wiki/ChangeLog
Note: this has explicitely not been added as a new graphics/opencv4 port, but
replaces the
previous graphics/opencv[3] port. Again, to improve maintainability by not
giving ports
the option to pick the "wrong one" - this leads however to some abandoned
ports being
broken.
The port has been greatly simplified:
* graphics/opencv-core which existed to enable ffmpeg to depend on opencv,
and vice versa
has been removed. ffmpeg no longer can depend on opencv. (Only the first 15 lines of the commit message are shown above ) |

Fix every instance of RUN_DEPENDS:=${BUILD_DEPENDS} in p5 ports, except
for where it resulted in a change in output from build-depends-list or
run-depends-list.

graphics/opencv: back out r423216 and r423063 (replaying r423316)
Renaming didn't help to unblock 3.x progress as co-existence with 2.x
was no less complex than simply fixing consumers. This commit also
restores directory-level history accidentally lost via git-svn.

graphics/opencv: add suffix to make room for 3.x series
To avoid confusion, the main port is to track the latest release.
Whether to rename includes/libraries as well making it possible to
install 2.x and 3.x side-by-side remains to be investigated.

Change the way Perl modules are installed, update the default Perl to 5.18.
Before, we had:
site_perl : lib/perl5/site_perl/5.18
site_perl/perl_arch : lib/perl5/site_perl/5.18/mach
perl_man3 : lib/perl5/5.18/man/man3
Now we have:
site_perl : lib/perl5/site_perl
site_arch : lib/perl5/site_perl/mach/5.18
perl_man3 : lib/perl5/site_perl/man/man3
Modules without any .so will be installed at the same place regardless of the (Only the first 15 lines of the commit message are shown above ) |

Remove all the bootstrap files (.bs) from the plists.
Starting with perl 5.20, they're not installed any more if empty,

- Update graphics/*opencv* to 2.4.7
- Revert options helpers to if statements since the OFF condition is not
applied when OPTIONS_EXCLUDE is used
- Move most of the OpenCV modules from the graphics/opencv-core port to
graphics/opencv, leaving opencv-core as just the bare minimum required
for building ffmpeg with OpenCV support
- Install examples for python and java bindings
- Add new slave port graphics/opencv-java: Java bindings for OpenCV
- Bump PORTREVISION and make dependency adjustments and fixes for
dependent ports
- Add UPDATING entry |
