The recently imposed "must be logged in" restriction is a response to increased bot traffic on the site. This affects search, commits, and vuxml pages.
Search engines are not blocked. Try using "site:www.freshports.org" and your search terms.
After the ports freeze to fix some stuff, the freeze is over. I have some work to do before FreshPorts can start processing commits again before it can start processing again. I've created an issue for that.

This is a proxy that retrieves data from 5ch.io, bbspink.com, talk.jp and returns it to the client. If the destination is *.2ch.net, the URL is converted internally to *.5ch.io before connecting.

japanese/proxy2ch: Update to 20260306-snapshot

The domain for 5Channel has changed from 5ch.net to 5ch.io.
Since data acquisition is no longer possible in the release version,
update to a snapshot.
The proxy2ch_flags in rc.d/proxy2ch wasn't working, so change it to
proxy2ch_args.
