This is a stock quote / currency status / Slashdot headline
fetcher. It was designed to save bandwidth, which is particularly
expensive in Europe. It has the capability of emailing these
to you at so and so time designated by a crontab entry for its
automailing program. This entire package is based on Perl.
===> The following configuration options are available for quotes-1.7.2_1:
DOCS=on: Build and/or install documentation
EXAMPLES=on: Build and/or install examples

Cleanup unmaintained ports in the misc category:
- Trim Header
- Convert to OptionsNG
- Prefer DISTNAME to DISTFILES
- Reorder variables
- Fix comments (don't include leading article)
- @unexec rm must not cause failure
- Tabs, not spaces
- Single space for WWW
- Pet portlint
- etc.
In a few cases the option DOCS was used to control installation into EXAMPLEDIR.
I opted to keep the existing logic of the port in these cases.

For ports maintained by ports@FreeBSD.org, remove names and/or
e-mail addresses from the pkg-descr file that could reasonably
be mistaken for maintainer contact information in order to avoid
confusion on the part of users looking for support. As a pleasant
side effect this also avoids confusion and/or frustration for people
who are no longer maintaining those ports.
- use DISTVERSION instead of PORTVERSION and DISTNAME (hi Mavvie, you see, I'm
not always lazy :-D )
- respect PORTDOCS and PORTEXAMPLES
- delete 404 WWW
- bump PORTREVISION

I've committed MASTER_SITES changes proposed by Marin Wilke some days ago,
but, the correct way is preserve original MASTER_SITE and add
freebsd.unixfreunde.de just as a backup, I'm doing it right now, restoring
original preserving the Martin's proposed backup.
