wifi-firmware-*: update to 20260410
Update firmware to 20260410. This includes new firmware files
for iwlwifi and rtw89.
Bump the main firmware version as well.

net/wifi-firmware-kmod: deal with '?' in file names as sha256 broke it
md5 (sha256) as of 70fde0ed6bbbb1f84c440190ba1e5435f8c90e13 in base
started quoting ? as \? which then goes into the distinfo file and
as a result we fail to find that file later using Mk/Scripts/.
Using the dummy=/ option is not as straight forward with a dynamic list
of distfiles as one would wish.
We now build a full matrix of MASTER_SITE x DISTFILES; that is for
each "DISTFILE" we generate a :group with a full download URL on each
"MASTER_SITE". That way each file is still possibly downloadable from
each of the various master sites.
The difference now is that the files stored in distfiles no longer
contain the ?h=<tag> extension as we strip that for the distfile having (Only the first 15 lines of the commit message are shown above  ) |

net/wifi-firmware-iwlwifi-kmod: update script to generate fw list
Starting recently newer iwlwifi firmware now uses a different file
name scheme ending in -cNNN for the core version.
Deal with the fact that we can have -NNN and -cNNN now; even in parallel.
Make sure the few .pnvm files are staying correctly where needed.
Given there is firmware newer than the driver can handle, implement
a max version array, so we can limit certain files to a specific
version. While this is needed for Linux v7.0 based iwlwifi it looks
like for 7.1 it will also be needed.

Given we are updating all the other firmware files as well to 20251125,
also update iwlwifi. The only new is that the first "sc" firmware
appeared.

net/wifi-firmware-iwlwifi-kmod: update firmware to 20251021
Intel firmware for BE200 ("bz" chipsets) requires more modern firmware
than we provide. [1]
The firmware file for iwlwifi-so-a0-gf4-a0 was missing in a recent
version; we only had the pnvm file. [2]
Update the Intel iwlwifi firmware to the latest tree
which brings a few changes:
(1) on linux-firmware.git the firmware got moved into a subdirectory
so we need to strip that path before installing as the driver
still expects the firmware in the top-level directory.
(2) the "bz" firmware gets bumped to 101, we keep the old version for
14.3-R around as well.
(3) while the other files keep their revisions, Intel may have updated(Only the first 15 lines of the commit message are shown above ) |

net/wifi-firmware-kmod: generalize iwlwifi specific tunable writing
Currently iwlwifi(4) is the only LinuxKPI based wireless driver able
to enable 11n/11ac. bz has added tunables to rtw88 and rtw89 in order
to allow them to gradually enable more modern standards as well.
Generalize the ports framework to not be iwlwifi-specifc anymore
in order to prepare for Realtek and others to gain 11n and 11ac
support.
At some point in time, along with a kernel change, we will then flip
the defaults and make this a "disable" rather than an enable option.

net/wifi-firmware-{iwlwifi,*}-kmod: add missing firmware files
The firmware files for iwlwifi were lacking entries for some older
driver versions on 14.2-RELEASE and stable/14 [1] before
src:f4e352ef16d6.
In addition iwx(4) switched to using the same firmware file names
as iwlwifi so that fwget(8) would work for both of them (D49259).
We add the set of iwx(4) firmware files hard coded to the list of
files.
Given the list of supported revisions will grow and maintaining them
for all branches will be tedious without overlap we will simply create
the lists and let make do the job of :O:u (sort/uniq) in the common
Makefile.inc to filter out duplicates between branches.(Only the first 15 lines of the commit message are shown above ) |

net/wifi-firmware-iwlwifi-kmod: add more ax210 firmware files
Some firmware files for the AX210 flavour were missing before.
Add them so we do not run into problems when disabling in-src.git
firmware compilation.

for the stable braches.

net/wifi-firmware-*: build framework and license hack cleanup
Cleanup the extra layer of "flavour" that came into the build framework
when flavours were introduced at a time when it was not planned.
Make linters some more happy. [1]
Remove the special license hack to install additional files.
If DISABLE_LICENSES is set we still installed files making builds fail [2].
One would hope to always install the lincese files but simply disable
any checking by the framework.
Introduce a new way using LICENSE_COMB=multi to install the default
license file, the extra WHENCE and any possible extra firmware license
files. Technically this is an abuse of the system too but at least it
should work and not break non default options.

net/wifi-firmware-*kmod: improve build logic, add flavors, update fw version
- update framework to no longer depend on local distfiles for firmware(9)
but generate the Makefile hierarchy in post-extract. Keep a
Makefile.inc.in in files for simplicity.
- update extracting WHENCE parts using a local WHENCE.awk.in in files
and a pattern to match the section(s).
- use the already prepared FWSUBS sections for flavors and add the
FWDRV as "default". Generate the CONFLICTS_INSTALL conflict and
PKGNAMESUFFIX entries. Adjust paths and logic for flavors.
Depend on the flavors rather the combined ("default flavor") packages
by default if someone installs wifi-firmware-kmod.
The wifi-firmware-${name}-kmod packages are still built for older
versions of fwget shipping in releases.
- add support for iwlwifi and ath12k firmware
- update firmware to linux-firmware.git tag: 20240513 for all drivers.
