- Description:
- e2tools is a simple set of GPL'ed utilities to read, write, and
manipulate files in an ext2/ext3 filesystem. These utilities access a
filesystem directly using the ext2fs library. I wrote these tools in
order to copy files into a linux filesystem on a machine that does not
have ext2 support. Of course, they can also be used on a Linux machine
to read/write to disk images or floppies without having to mount them
or have root access.
Supported functionality:
- copy files: e2cp
- move files: e2mv
- remove files: e2rm
- create directory: e2mkdir
- create hard links: e2ln
- list files/directories: e2ls
- output the last part of a file: e2tail

filesystems: add new category for file systems and related utilities
The filesystems category houses file systems and file system utilities.
It is added mainly to turn the sysutils/fusefs-* pseudo-category into
a proper one, but is also useful for the sundry of other file systems
related ports found in the tree.
Ports that seem like they belong there are moved to the new category.
Two ports, sysutils/fusefs-funionfs and sysutils/fusefs-fusepak are
not moved as they currently don't fetch and don't have TIMESTAMP set
in their distinfo, but that is required to be able to push a rename
of the port by the pre-receive hook.

www/writefreely had a stray duplicate MAINTAINER block
from an earlier botched commit. I did intentionally not

Depend on `sysutils/e2fsprogs-core' in the remaining three ports
Chase commit 14e733a6bb4b and depend on the new port origin which
most utilities and libraries now belong to. This would often go
unnoticed as `sysutils/e2fsprogs-core' would be pulled regardless,
but might cause package build tools to always rebuild consumers.

Remove WWW entries moved into port Makefiles
Commit b7f05445c00f has added WWW entries to port Makefiles based on
WWW: lines in pkg-descr files.
This commit removes the WWW: lines of moved-over URLs from these
pkg-descr files.

Add WWW entries to port Makefiles
It has been common practice to have one or more URLs at the end of the
ports' pkg-descr files, one per line and prefixed with "WWW:". These
URLs should point at a project website or other relevant resources.
Access to these URLs required processing of the pkg-descr files, and
they have often become stale over time. If more than one such URL was
present in a pkg-descr file, only the first one was tarnsfered into
the port INDEX, but for many ports only the last line did contain the
port specific URL to further information.
There have been several proposals to make a project URL available as
a macro in the ports' Makefiles, over time.

devel/e2fsprogs-libss: merge to sysutils/e2fsprogs
This is to break dependency cycles between e2fsprogs-libss and
e2fsprogs (see 254751 comment #18 for details), and to avoid creating
yet another split-out port, then for e2fsprogs's libcom_err.
Bump PORTREVISION of the four e2fsprogs consumers to flush out
their e2fsprogs-libss dependency records.
