This package contains SGML formatting tools that were once a part
of the base FreeBSD distribution. This port should be regarded
as a temporary solution to formatting SGML files until the
wrinkles in jade, a DSSSL processor, get ironed out.

To avoid any confusion with the versions of these tools that
might already be installed in your system, after installing this
package you may wish move or remove:
/usr/bin/sgmlfmt
/usr/bin/sgmls
/usr/bin/instant
/usr/share/sgml/* (all subdirectories)
textproc/sgmlformat: unbreak for external groff
The GNU roff toolchain has been removed from base but sgmlformat relied
on "groff" command to be in PATH and installs three .ts files
with references to /usr/share/tmac that does not exist
in modern FreeBSD versions.
Add textproc/groff to RUN_DEPENDS and fix broken references,
so sgmlformat is functional again.

MASTER_SITES cleanup.
- Replace ${MASTER_SITE_FOO} with FOO.
- Merge MASTER_SITE_SUBDIR into MASTER_SITES when possible. (This means 99.9%
of the time.)
- Remove occurrences of MASTER_SITE_LOCAL when no subdirectory was present and
no hint of what it should be was present.
- Fix some logic.
- And generally, make things more simple and easy to understand.
While there, add magic values to the FESTIVAL, GENTOO, GIMP, GNUPG, QT and
SAMBA macros.
Also, replace some EXTRACT_SUFX occurences with USES=tar:*.

newgetopt.pl was deprecated in 5.14, so, it doesn't work any more with 5.16+.
As Getopt::Long has been there for ages (and is in all supported perls in the
port tree,) this seemed the easiest way to fix it.

Move the USE_PERL definitions, and others, before pre.mk inclusion. This
will be needed to conditionalize bsd.perl.mk inclusion.

Use onsgmls instead of nsgmls when $WITH_OPENJADE is defined. These should be
able to change at runtime with environment variables or so, but this
workaround is useful until correct fix is applied.
Change PKGDIR from pkg/ to . Also fix places where ${PKGDIR} is spelled out
(many of which are ${PKGDIR}/MESSAGE -> ${PKGMESSAGE} type fixes that
shouldn't have been necessary) and the string "/pkg/" appear.
