Mattermost is an open core, self-hosted collaboration platform that offers
chat, workflow automation, voice calling, screen sharing, and AI integration.
It's written in Golang and React, runs as a single binary and relies on
PostgreSQL.
Reason:
Mattermost 11.x dropped support for MySQL / MariaDB database.
If you are affected please read the migration guidelines before updating:

*/*: Go ports that use modernc.org/sqlite are for aarch64, amd64 only
The module modernc.org/sqlite (and dependencies such as modernc.org/libc)
are only available on aarch64 and amd64 FreeBSD. Other platforms are
not supported on FreeBSD right now.
Consistently mark ports using these with ONLY_FOR_ARCHS.

www/mattermost-server: Update to 8.1.12
The old hack to overwrite go.mod and replace some unsupported keywords
did not work anymore so we roll our own distfile now including
vendorized dependencies.

www/mattermost-server: Update dists
Looks like upstream rerolled their distfiles which caused the failure.
However this builds fine with GO 1.21.

Remove WWW entries moved into port Makefiles
Commit b7f05445c00f has added WWW entries to port Makefiles based on
WWW: lines in pkg-descr files.
This commit removes the WWW: lines of moved-over URLs from these
pkg-descr files.
Approved by: portmgr (tcberner)
Add WWW entries to port Makefiles
It has been common practice to have one or more URLs at the end of the
ports' pkg-descr files, one per line and prefixed with "WWW:". These
URLs should point at a project website or other relevant resources.
Access to these URLs required processing of the pkg-descr files, and
they have often become stale over time. If more than one such URL was
present in a pkg-descr file, only the first one was tarnsfered into
the port INDEX, but for many ports only the last line did contain the
port specific URL to further information.
There have been several proposals to make a project URL available as
a macro in the ports' Makefiles, over time.
