Snownews is a text mode RSS/RDF newsreader. It supports RSS 1.0 feeds that
comply with the W3C RDF specification and also supports Radio Userland's
RSS 0.91 and 2.0 versions.

Remove indefinite articles and trailing periods from COMMENT, plus
minor COMMENT typos and surrounding whitespace fixes. A few Makefiles
where not included as they contain Latin-1 characters that break

NEW XORG ON FREEBSD 9-STABLE AND 10-STABLE
This update switches over to use the new xorg stack by default on FreeBSD 9
and 10 stable, on osversions where vt(9) is available.
It is still possible to use the old stack by specifying WITHOUT_NEW_XORG in
/etc/make.conf .
FreeBSD 8-STABLE and released versions of FreeBSD still use
the old version.
A package repository with binary packages for new xorg will
be available soon.
This patch also contains updates of libxcb and related ports, pixman, as well
(Only the first 15 lines of the commit message are shown above )
- Make ports use the libc provided iconv implementation on 10-CURRENT
after r254273
- Fix a bunch of ports to properly work after this
- Mark converters/libiconv as IGNORE for systems with iconv in libc

Remove bits for specifying the charset when building the port. The charset is

Add support for DESTDIR part I.
This commit should largele be a NOOP as it only adds support
for DESTDIR undefined. This does allow us to start testing
ports with DESTDIR set, but this is as of yet not supported.
Although this has been extensively tested on pointyhat, this
is a very intrusive change and some cases may have been
overlooked. Please contact Gabor and me if you find any.

- Snownews can take env argument so that it shows characters other that
iso-8859-1. Update makes possible to choose desired CHARSET upon
the configuration time.
- replace "-lncursesw" to "-lncurses" when make with "CHARSET=UTF-8"
- bump PORTREVISION for those who may need to define CHARSET.
