IceWM is a window manager for the X Window System. The goal of IceWM
is speed, simplicity, and not getting in the user's way. It comes with
a taskbar with pager, global and per-window keybindings, a dynamic menu
system, a simple session manager, and a system tray. It is standards
compliant, very configurable, themeable, and well documented.
===> The following configuration options are available for icewm-4.0.0:
BEASTIE=on: Use Beastie'fied startup button
DOCS=on: Build and/or install documentation
IMLIB2=on: Use Imlib2 for rendering
LIBRSVG2=off: SVG vector graphics support via librsvg2
NLS=on: Native Language Support
XFT=on: Xft font library support
XINERAMA=on: X11 Xinerama extension support
XRANDR=on: X11 XRandR extension support
XRES=on: X11 XResource extension support
===> Use 'make config' to modify these settings
x11-wm/icewm: update IceWM to the latest version 3.9.0
The highlight of this release is support for themed cursors to
gdk-pixbuf without requiring libXpm and using Xcursor files as
an alternative to XPM cursors.

x11-wm/icewm: update IceWM to the latest version 3.8.0
As I've been de facto taking care of this port for the
past five years and work closely with upstream, assume
maintainership as suggested by Chris via email.
x11-wm/icewm: the port had been updated to version 3.7.4
- Remove 20 old and obsolete icons from the distribution
- Add support for the X-resource library 1.2 to reliably
obtain process identifiers of local client windows
- Use shorter option helper knobs for better indentation
gnome.mk: rename gdkpixbuf2 to gdkpixbuf to prepare for port move
The GTK 1-based gdk-pixbuf has not existed for some time.
No functional or package changes.
x11-wm/icewm: the port had been updated to bugfix version 3.7.2
Notable changes for packagers:
- Support SVG icons when the image library supports it natively
- Fix compiling without internationalization for icewm-menu-fdo
x11-wm/icewm: update IceWM to version 3.4.7
- Improve support for international keyboard layouts in keybindings,
notably for Slavic, Greek, Hebrew, Arabic, Thai, Hangul, and Kana
- Reparse all keybindings whenever the keyboard layout changes
x11-wm/icewm: update IceWM to version 3.4.2
- Fix restoring from fullscreen with F11 in Chromium
- Support tabs in the Window List Menu
- Control the terminal in icewm-menu-fdo by option or environment
and let it use a list of default terminals to choose from
x11-wm/icewm: update IceWM to the latest version 3.4.0
- Now supports keybindings to shifted keys, literal Latin-1
characters, and all UTF-8 code points
- Reparses the key bindings upon the keyboard layout change
- Fixed handling of a map request from an unmanaged client
- Several translation files missed in the previous releases
had been added to the release tarball
x11-wm/icewm: the port had been updated to version 3.3.2
Drop all but one hunk from the patchfile, owing apparently to
added configure check for the presence of libiconv on OpenBSD.
x11-wm/icewm: update IceWM to version 3.3.0
Build against `graphics/nanosvg' by default, which is currently
supported only with Imlib2 renderer. Being a simple two-header
dependency, it does not warrant an additional option. LIBRSVG2
would override it if selected.
x11-wm/icewm: update IceWM to version 3.2.2
Remove situational patches added in commit cbcb71ff6481,
the problem had been addressed differently upstream.
x11-wm/icewm: fix invalid paths in desktop files
This caused graphical login managers, like slim, to fail on login.

x11-wm/icewm: update IceWM to version 3.2.0
Backport the fix for annoying regression when the quick switch list
had not been properly updated while changing workspaces at the same
time with QuickSwitchToAllWorkspaces=0 (default setting).
x11-wm/icewm: update IceWM to version 3.0.0
While this is not the major update as one might think, it does bring
one noticeable feature: support for tabbed windows (see the manpage).

Remove WWW entries moved into port Makefiles
Commit b7f05445c00f has added WWW entries to port Makefiles based on
WWW: lines in pkg-descr files.
This commit removes the WWW: lines of moved-over URLs from these
pkg-descr files.
Approved by: portmgr (tcberner)
Add WWW entries to port Makefiles
It has been common practice to have one or more URLs at the end of the
ports' pkg-descr files, one per line and prefixed with "WWW:". These
URLs should point at a project website or other relevant resources.
Access to these URLs required processing of the pkg-descr files, and
they have often become stale over time. If more than one such URL was
present in a pkg-descr file, only the first one was tarnsfered into
the port INDEX, but for many ports only the last line did contain the
port specific URL to further information.
There have been several proposals to make a project URL available as
a macro in the ports' Makefiles, over time.

- Update IceWM to version 2.3.4 which now upholds --disable-rsvg switch
- Revert bogus changes to USE_GNOME and BEASTIE_DESC done in cf6ea18e37
- Fix the header of `files/bsd-daemon.xpm' one more time: certain image
loaders, e.g. Imlib2, employ overly zealous checks of XPM header (see
line 155 of imlib2-1.7.0/src/modules/loaders/loader_xpm.c), so resort
to more traditional /* XPM */ and move attribution to its own comment
x11-wm/icewm: Fix bsd-daemon.xpm
There was a problem with the initial comment in the xpm file that
prevented the image to be loaded properly.

- Update IceWM to version 2.2.1 (bugfix release)
- Rephrase and shorten COMMENT, amend pkg-descr
based on the upstream description, and remove
excessive attribution (put it in the XPM file)
Don't try to needlessly (or, as with --with-docdir, even bogusly) override
various directories and trust the default values from the configure script.
As a result, icehelp(1) now displays internal HTML help as expected, while
previously it could not find the files and showed empty window.

- Update IceWM to version 1.8.2 which brings several bugfixes
and the new Portuguese translations
- Remove local patch now that the problem is fixed upstream
- Update IceWM to version 1.6.6 (long overdue; version 1.7.0 has issues)
- Now requires C++11-capable compiler (so drop USE_CXXSTD=c++98)
- Options ASM, GNOME, LITE, and MENUFIX had been fixed/removed upstream
- Explicitly list all needed libraries and X11 components to ensure
robust build and simplify BEASTIE option handling while at it
Add USES=xorg USES=gl, ports categories x
Add USES=xorg and USES=gl to ports in categories starting with 'x'

converters/libiconv:
- Remove const qualifier from iconv(3) to match POSIX:
http://pubs.opengroup.org/onlinepubs/9699919799/functions/iconv.html
- Patch iconv.h to expose more GNU extensions when LIBICONV_PLUG is
defined because the base system iconv supports these extensions too.
Add/remove patches to/from ports to call iconv with non-const arguments.
This breaks some ports on FreeBSD 10 because base system iconv.h still has
the const qualifier. Fix this by letting USES=iconv add a build dependency
on converters/libiconv so ports can use its iconv.h (with LIBICONV_PLUG
defined) instead of the base system iconv.h.
This exposed some ports that link with libiconv when it is available instead
of using libc iconv. In these cases one of the following changes has been
