x11/cde-devel: Introduce x11/cde-devel
The x11/cde-devel port will track the CDE master development branch.
The cdesktopenv-code git repo on sourceforge is mirrored using my github
account and FreeBSD ports plumbing is used to fetch tarballs from github.
This port uses the x11/cde-25 port/pkg coexistence methodology to allow
it to be installed while a more stable version of x11/cde* is installed,
allowing users to safely use the port with a quick fallback should the
upstream software significanly break.
Users should ensure that their ~/.dt is backed up prior to switching
from a stable version of x11/cde* to x11/cde-devel or back again.

x11/cde*: Rename cde to cde-24 and create cde meta port
In preparation of the introduction of CDE 2.5.0 to the ports tree,
rename the existing cde port to cde-24 and add a new cde meta port.
The reason for this is that CDE 2.5.0 appears to address some font
issues which negatively affects legacy Xm and Xaw apps.

x11/cde-25: Introduce the new x11/cde-25
CDE 2.5.0 has many improvements however some users may discover that
fonts used by legacy Xm and Xaw apps are unreadable due to legacy apps
using the gb2312.1980 font registry. For now cde-24 will remain the
default cde however users can install cde-25 for new features and
bugfixes.

x11/nwg-look: add new port
Nwg-look is a GTK3 settings editor, designed to work properly in
wlroots-based Wayland environment. The look and feel is strongly
influenced by LXAppearance, but nwg-look is intended to free the user
from a few inconveniences:
- It works natively on Wayland. You no longer need Xwayland, nor
strange env variables for it to run.
- It applies gsettings directly, with no need to use workarounds. You
don't need to set gsettings in the sway config file. You don't need
the "import-gsettings" script.

x11/wl-mirror: add new port
wl-mirror attempts to provide a solution to sway's lack of output
mirroring by mirroring an output onto a client surface.
Features:
- Mirror an output onto a resizable window
- Mirror an output onto another output by fullscreening the window
- Reacts to changes in output scale
- Preserves aspect ratio
- Corrects for flipped or rotated outputs
- Supports custom flips or rotations
- Supports mirroring custom regions of outputs
- Supports receiving additional options on stdin for changing the mirrored
screen or region on the fly (works best when used with pipectl)

1. Arranges in a row or a column
1. Auto scales based on DPI: 96 is a scale of 1
1. Reacts when displays are plugged/unplugged
1. Reacts when laptop lid is closed/opened
Works out of the box: no configuration required.

x11/wayout: add new port
Wayout takes text from standard input and outputs it to a desktop-widget
on Wayland desktops. Periodic updates are supported; e.g. newline-separated
input or any other delimiter of choice. We call this a feed. The desktop
widget can be shown either on top (OSD-like functionality) or below other
windows.
A Wayland compositor must implement the Layer-Shell and XDG-Output for wayout
to work.
Features:
- Allow updating from standard input at a regular interval; custom delimiters
- Configurable colours/border/position/fonts
- Supports the pango markup language for text markup/colours.

x11/swayimg: add new port
Now you can view images directly in the current terminal window!
The program uses Sway IPC to determine the geometry of the currently
focused container. This data is used to calculate the position and
size of the new "overlay" window that will be used to draw the image.
In the next step, swayimg adds two Sway rules for the self window:
"floating enable" and "move position". Then it creates a new Wayland
window and draws the image from the specified file.

- Fuzzy search
- Fast and snappy
- Remembers often used applications
- Argument support for launched programs
- Paste support

PyQt: Update sip to 6.5.0, reintroduce sip4 and simplify PyQt framework.
SIP:
As mentioned in the update from sip to sip5, this is a transitional version
to remove what is deprecated in sip4.
Sip6 completely removes the deprecated parts.
Unfortunately, some ports — mostly cura things — can not use sip6, so we
reintroduce sip4.
PyQt:
At the same time, we took the opportunity to simplify PyQT and propose only one
package as for devel/pyside2. */py-qt5-* have been merged — excepted chart,
networkauth and webengine — into devel/py-qt5-pyqt.
This allows us to be in adequacy with the packages that the author of these
libraries proposes, namely:
PyQt - devel/py-qt5-pyqt
PyQt-Charts - x11-toolkits/py-qt5-chart
PyQt-NetworkAuth – net/py-qt5-networkauth
PyQt-WebEngine – www/py-qt5-webengine

x11/wvkbd: add new port
wvkbd project aims to deliver a minimal but practically usable
implementation of a wlroots on-screen keyboard in legible C. This will
only be a keyboard, not a feedback buzzer, led blinker, or anything
that requires more than what's needed to input text quickly. The end
product should be a static codebase that can be patched to add new
features.
Features:
- Typing, modifier locking, layout switching
- Positive visual feedback on key presses
- Custom layouts and underlying keymaps
- On-the-fly layout and keymap switching
- Custom color schemes
- Proper font drawing
- Intuitive layouts
- International layouts (cyrillic, arabic)
- Support for 'Copy' keys which are not on the keymap

x11/swayr: add new port
Swayr consists of a demon, and a client. The demon swayrd records
window/workspace creations, deletions, and focus changes using sway's
JSON IPC interface. The client swayr offers subcommands, see swayr
--help, and sends them to the demon which executes them.
Right now, there are these subcommands:
* next-window focuses the next window in depth-first iteration order of the
tree.
* prev-window focuses the previous window in depth-first iteration order of
the tree.
* switch-window displays all windows in the order urgent first, then
last-recently-used, focused last and focuses the selected.
* quit-window displays all windows and quits the selected one.
* switch-to-urgent-or-lru-window switches to the next window with urgency
hint (if any) or to the last recently used window.
* switch-workspace displays all workspaces in LRU order and switches to the
selected one.
* switch-workspace-or-window displays all workspaces and their windows and
switches to the selected workspace or window.
* quit-workspace-or-window displays all workspaces and their windows and
allows to quit either the selected workspace (all its windows) or the
selected window.
* execute-swaymsg-command displays most swaymsg which don't require
additional input and executes the selected one. That's handy especially for
less often used commands not bound to a key.
* execute-swayr-command displays all commands above and executes the selected
one. (This is useful for accessing swayr commands which are not bound to a
key.)

x11/plasma5-plasma: Update KDE Plasma Desktop to 5.22
Plasma 5.22 is here, and it is more reliable and stable than ever. By
cleaning up and refactoring code in the background, the Plasma desktop
gives you greater responsiveness and performance, helping you become
even more productive without hiccups or surprises. Enjoy a smoother
experience with KDE’s Plasma 5.22 desktop.
Plasma 5.22 has become more pleasurable to use through improvements to
the design and greater smoothness and consistency in transparencies,
blurs, icons, and animations. Moving things to accessible locations,
offering hints and visual cues, and creating new settings allows you to
customize your work environment to make it fit perfectly to your needs.
Following the true KDE spirit, the push for a more stable and attractive
desktop does not mean you have to renounce control over how you want it
to look or behave. Plasma 5.22, as always, packs all the flexibility and
tools for customization you have come to expect and love, and some more
to boot.
Meanwhile, the push to move Plasma in its entirety to Wayland (the
display protocol of the future) continues in full swing. So much so that
popular distros are starting to ship Plasma with Wayland by default. By
using Wayland behind the scenes, Plasma is able to include features and
bug fixes not possible to implement on X11, offering you a better
experience and more stability.

Welcome XFCE 4.16 to the FreeBSD ports tree!
Upstream announce: https://xfce.org/about/news/?post=1608595200
This XFCE release dropped support for GTK2 plugins and also dropped
GTK2 from all components.
WARNING: please check UPDATING before upgrading your packages. In
case of problems also read the libexo pkg-message.
Due to this some panel plugins and libraries will be removed since
they cannot compile anymore:
- print/xfce4-print
- x11/xfce4-quicklauncher-plugin
- x11/xfce4-wmdock-plugin
- x11-toolkits/libxfce4gui
These further components also fail to build or work and are being
marked BROKEN, deprecated and marked for removal:
- science/xfce4-equake-plugin
- x11/xfce4-embed-plugin
- deskutils/orage
- deskutils/xfce4-volumed [1]
deskutils/xfce4-notes-plugin will be also marked BROKEN, but there
is active development in it's upstream repository and a fixed release
is expected soon.
deskutils/xfce4-generic-slider will also be marked broken, since
it fails to compile. [2]
